Day 1
Welcome to Moshi – Chagga Cultural Experience
Accommodation:Â Lodge in Moshi
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be welcomed by your Go Ahead Trip guide and transferred to your lodge in Moshi.
Later, visit a traditional Chagga village on the slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro. Walk through lush coffee and banana plantations, learn how coffee is grown, roasted, and prepared, and enjoy a freshly brewed cup made the traditional way.
Visit the historic Chagga underground caves and gain insight into the history and traditions of one of Tanzania's most fascinating communities.

Day 2
Materuni Waterfalls & Local Village Life
Accommodation:Â Lodge in Moshi
After breakfast, enjoy a scenic walk to the beautiful Materuni Waterfalls, surrounded by tropical forest and spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro.
Spend the afternoon with local families, learning traditional cooking techniques and enjoying a home-prepared lunch. Experience the daily rhythm of village life while interacting with friendly members of the community.
Return to your lodge for a relaxing evening.

Day 3
Moshi – Mto wa Mbu Cultural Village
Accommodation:Â Lodge near Lake Manyara
After breakfast, drive to the lively village of Mto wa Mbu, home to people from more than 120 different tribes.
Explore the village on foot and by bicycle, visit banana plantations, rice fields, local markets, and traditional craft workshops. Enjoy a delicious lunch prepared by local women before tasting locally produced banana beer and banana wine.
This day offers an authentic glimpse into everyday life in one of Tanzania's most diverse communities.

Day 4
Lake Eyasi – Hadzabe & Datoga Tribes
Accommodation:Â Lodge at Lake Eyasi
Wake early for an unforgettable cultural experience with the Hadzabe people, one of the last remaining hunter-gatherer communities in Africa.
Join them on a morning bush walk where they demonstrate traditional hunting techniques, tracking skills, and survival methods.
Later, visit the neighbouring Datoga community, renowned for their traditional blacksmithing. Watch skilled craftsmen create tools and jewellery using techniques passed down through generations.
Enjoy a peaceful evening overlooking Lake Eyasi.

Day 5
Karatu Highlands & Iraqw Community
Accommodation:Â Farm Lodge in Karatu
Travel through the fertile highlands of Karatu and visit an Iraqw village, where you'll learn about their customs, farming traditions, and unique architecture.
Visit a local coffee farm, take part in a coffee-making experience, and enjoy lunch prepared using fresh local ingredients.
In the evening, experience traditional music and dance performed by members of the community.

Day 6
Maasai Cultural Experience & Nature Walk
Accommodation:Â Lodge near West Kilimanjaro
After breakfast, travel toward West Kilimanjaro to visit an authentic Maasai village.
Be welcomed with traditional songs and dances before learning about Maasai culture, livestock keeping, beadwork, traditional medicine, and family life.
Join a guided nature walk with Maasai warriors, who will explain how they use local plants and wildlife to survive in the bush.
Watch the sunset with magnificent views of Mount Kilimanjaro before returning to your lodge.

Moshi Town Tour & Departure
After breakfast, return to Moshi for a relaxed morning exploring the town.
