Akagera is Rwanda’s only savannah park, offering classic African safari experiences. It features open plains, woodlands, wetlands, and lakes. After major conservation efforts, the Big Five (lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and rhino) have been reintroduced, making it ideal for game drives and boat safaris on Lake Ihema. It also boasts over 500 species of birds.
