Arrival in Arusha (Gateway to Safari)

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you are met by your safari representative and transferred to your lodge in Arusha.

This is your first opportunity to meet fellow group travelers and your safari guide. In the evening, enjoy a relaxed briefing covering the journey ahead, park highlights, and group introductions over dinner.

Arusha sits beneath the slopes of Mount Meru and serves as the calm starting point for northern Tanzania’s safari circuit.

Day 2

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park, known for its massive elephant populations and ancient baobab trees.

By afternoon, you enter the Serengeti for your first game drive. This is one of the most exciting moments of the trip, with chances to see lions, elephants, cheetahs, hyenas, and vast herds of grazing animals depending on the season.

You arrive at your camp or lodge before sunset for dinner and overnight.

Full-Day Serengeti Safari Experience

Ngorongoro Crater Safari & Return to Arusha

After an early breakfast, depart toward the Ngorongoro Highlands and descend into the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The crater floor is one of the best wildlife viewing areas in Africa, offering high chances of spotting lions, buffalo, zebras, hippos, flamingos, and the rare black rhino.

Enjoy a picnic lunch near a hippo pool before continuing your game drive across the crater floor.

In the afternoon, begin your return journey to Arusha, where your safari ends with a hotel drop-off or airport transfer.
