Day 1

Arrival in Arusha & Expedition Briefing

Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport and transfer to your hotel in Arusha.

Meet your guides and fellow climbers during the evening expedition briefing. Equipment checks, route information, and final preparations take place before your mountain adventure begins.

Day 2

Londorossi Gate to Mti Mkubwa Camp

Drive to Londorossi Gate for registration before beginning your trek through lush rainforest.

Keep an eye out for black-and-white colobus monkeys and exotic birdlife as you make your way to the first campsite.

Day 3

Mti Mkubwa to Shira 1 Camp

Leave the rainforest behind and enter the heath and moorland zones.

Day 4

Shira 1 to Shira 2 Camp

Shira 2 to Barranco Camp via Lava Tower

Ascend toward Lava Tower before descending into Barranco Valley.

Karanga Camp to Barafu Camp

Climb steadily to Barafu Camp, the final base camp before your summit attempt.

Day 8

Summit Day: Uhuru Peak & Descent

Around midnight, begin your ascent toward Uhuru Peak.

As dawn breaks over East Africa, reach the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro and celebrate one of the most remarkable achievements in adventure travel.

After photos and celebration at the summit, descend to base camp before continuing to lower elevations where a vehicle transfer returns you to Arusha.
