The Materuni Waterfalls Day Tour is one of the most popular day trips from Moshi, combining a scenic waterfall hike, a traditional Chagga coffee experience, cultural interaction, and local cuisine in the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro.

Materuni Waterfall is located in Materuni Village, a Chagga community on the southern slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro, approximately 15 km from Moshi Town.

Most tours last a full day, typically:

Departure: 8:00–10:00 AM
Return: 4:00–6:00 PM

The total experience usually takes 6–8 hours depending on transport and time spent at the waterfall and coffee tour.

The hike is generally rated easy to moderate:
